Roja is a PhD fellow at the graduate school MEDAS 21 \u2013 Media Development in the 21st Century at the Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism, Dortmund, and a research associate at the Institute for Media Studies at the Ruhr University Bochum (Germany). Her PhD research project is on UN radios in peace operations with a special focus on C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Her research interests include: media development, United Nations, human rights and humanitarian law, peace and conflict studies, epistemology, political theory and legal philosophy.
