Marie Migeon

Marie is developing her PhD project at the University of Basel and is researching how visual and discursive representations of women in armed conflict shape their role in peace processes and after peace settlements. She will explore representations of women in Northern Ireland and Colombia as well as their political participation and inclusion. Her project looks into contexts where women were actively involved in conflict as well as in peace negotiations to understand links between political representation and discursive/visual representation.
