Lauren Salim
Lauren is the Leader, Special Projects at the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies where she helps to implement projects on a variety of topics at the intersection of human rights and technology. She received her Master of Arts in Human Rights from the University of London where her research focused on advocacy efforts for African Nova Scotians’ rights to participate in public affairs and land title issues. She was previously awarded BA in International Development Studies from Dalhousie University. Her research interests include political rights, digital rights and access to information for marginalized groups.
